An essential event for the entire textile industry, Première Vision offers modified event calendars, relaxed registration requirements, fees lifted for the marketplace and digitized, online show tools.
In light of the health and economic crisis the world has been experiencing over the past several weeks, Première Vision has taken a firm position to making a strong strategic commitment to a severely impacted fashion industry. In an expression of solidarity with its exhibitors and brands, the group has launched a series of measures to actively support and assist the sector in preparation for the resumption of business operations.
- Confirmation of the Première Vision Paris show next September
- Modification of some show calendars to ensure their smooth operation given relevant health constraints, with some being re-thought and adapted to the situation: Made in France Première Vision, Denim Première Vision, Blossom Première Vision, Première Vision New York, Première Vision Sport
- Easing of registration conditions for exhibitors
- Free access for visitors
- Simplification and lifting of charges for digital services on the Première Vision Marketplace
- Accelerated digitisation of show services and content: products, seasonal fashion information, webinars, etc.

Gilles Lasbordes, General Manager of Première Vision quoted that “PV, along with fashion manufacturers and brands, fully share a desire to work together in emerging from this crisis, which is having such a severe impact on the industry. We have explored every possible option to provide tangible support to the market. First, we believe that companies will have a vital need to come together again to help re-launch businesses that, in some cases, have been dramatically weakened. And this, of course, must be done in compliance with the health precautions that will be in effect. At the same time, we very quickly took the decision to provide an online digital version of the fashion information prepared for our exhibitors, to ensure our on-going creative support. Looking ahead to September, we will be taking even further steps. Already, as of mid-March, we have made it free for our exhibitors to showcase an unlimited number of their products on the Marketplace, to help them remain in contact with their clients, provide samples and fulfil orders. Lastly, for Première Vision Paris, we have pushed back the registration process as late as possible and relaxed their conditions as well. We have decided to assume 100% of the risks of cancellation of the show, should holding it be banned by the authorities. Our teams are currently fully committed and mobilized with the industry to face the new challenges that lie ahead.”
PV will be head from 15 to 17 September, at the Parc des Expositions de Paris Nord Villepinte dedicated to the Autumn/Winter 2021-22 collections. The Fair will have a special edition of Denim Première Vision along with Blossom Première Vision’s product developments. The show is also intending to integrate those Denim Première Vision exhibitors who wish to do so, and to welcome the creative offer from Blossom Première Vision exhibitors. Initially scheduled to take place 10 and 11 June in Milan, Denim Première Vision will now be making its next stopover in Berlin this November, and is announcing its return to Milan next 26 & 27 May 2021.

In the meantime, in an effort to support the industry by allowing it to benefit from its major international event – Première Vision Paris – the organisers are giving the denim community the opportunity to discover the innovations, developments and creative of indigo specialists within a totally new village. Blossom Première Vision, originally scheduled for 1 and 2 July in Paris, will see its exhibitors, who all show at Première Vision Paris, unveiling their creative materials for pre-collections – including fabrics, leathers, and accessories – alongside their collections targeting fashion houses’ main collections.
In the event of the cancellation of the show due to force majeure, Première Vision plans to reimburse the exhibitors’ registration, and therefore bear the risk related to the show not taking place. Furthermore, visitors will be able to register free of charge until 31 August, and will enjoy free access to the show and the seminars.
Première Vision opened its Marketplace services to its exhibitors free of charge as of mid-March. The B2B / Business to Business E-Commerce Platform, which features an array of products from Première Vision Paris and Première Vision Denim exhibitors, has been made available to manufacturers at no additional cost, with no product limits and no set time commitment. Exhibitors are free to include their entire collection on their shop in order to stay in touch with their customers, showcase and promote their offer, and further develop their online business. All while benefiting from the help and technical support of the Première Vision teams, who remain mobilized and at their full disposal.
PV is also evolving its tools and systems to allow a broader digitisation of services and content, including selecting products for the forums, the season’s fashion information, trend seminars and conferences to be found online.
